Tickets Kenya Terms and Conditions.
Dimetech Group Limited operates www.ticketskenya.com ticketing platform consisting of a tickets marketplace.
Our terms and conditions shall apply to all event organizers and ticket buyers on the platform
and is part of our general terms and conditions of the use of this website.
If you register with our marketplace as an event organizer:
You accept these conditions, and our privacy policy as may be amended by Dimetech Group Limited from time to time.
You
may not register with our platform as an event organizer, if you are an
employee of Dimetech Group Limited or a family member of an employee of
DImetech Group Limited, unless Dimetech Group has approved the
registration
pursuant to its conflict of interest procedures.
If you
register with our marketplace as an event organizer you will be able to
create an account on our platform, using the “Dashboard” area.
Events that are submitted are subject for approval by Dimetech Group before they are operational.
As an event organizer in our platform, you shall be solely responsible for your events and tickets, and you hereby agree that:
You shall obtain any relevant licenses required for sale of your tickets on the platform.
You
shall register with relevant tax authorities and pay all required taxes
in relation to your ticket sales to the extent required by applicable
law.
Will conduct your business operations with skill and care, and
by co-operating with and acting in good faith towards ticketskenya.com and
the buyers.
We reserve the right to reject, unpublish and/or
delete any account that breaches this policy, the general
terms or any ticketskenya.com guidelines.
Products and Pricing
As a seller you will be responsible for your listings on
ticketskenya.com. You shall upload a completed event page including your
ticket prices, event description, images and any other specifications in
regard to each event.
The only events that we will approve for
are those which fall within the event categories specified on ticketskenya.com.
Any events or tickets that breach the law will be deleted and the organizer account banned from our Marketplace.
You are required to state your prices inclusive of VAT and any other relevant tax as required by authorities.
You are solely responsible for setting the pricing of your tickets which can always be amended through the dashboard.
Ticketing and check-in
Once the buyer has successfully purchased a ticket, they receive a
pdf copy with a QR code to scan during admission to the event. The
seller
receives the order for processing which includes details of the buyer.
All purchases have an automatic cool-off
period of ten (7) days, counted from the date where the ticket was
received by the buyer, as confirmed by the buyer.
After such period, all purchases shall be automatically accepted and will remain final.
After the cooling-off period, money from the purchase will be transferred to the event organizer’s account.
Commission
You shall list your events on our platform for free, but we will charge you a commission of 10% for each transaction made through ticketskenya.com. We reserve the rights to change commissions from time to time. Commissions shall be calculated as percentage of the selling price inclusive of VAT and any other taxes charged by the buyer.
Breach of Seller Policy
If we determine that you have breached our seller policy and general terms, we will:
Send you a warning, if the problem persists then we shall suspend and prohibit you access to our marketplace.
Take legal action against you for breach of contract.
The
consequences of breach will apply if you fail to provide a minimum
level of operational performance to satisfy buyers on our marketplace or
constantly receive bad ratings and reviews.

These terms are subject to our privacy policy and shall be governed and constructed in accordance with laws of Kenya.
